When my new FreeGEM Setup program is complete, it could always be modified for SEAL and used. It uses Turbo Vision to provide a graphical-like text environment. It supports file compression, split files for floppy disks, has a Disk Layout Program to layout disks and generate a SETUP.INF, and more.

Well, FreeGEM Setup is, at the moment, only an initial Setup program and does not support adding components at a later date. SIP is more like for adding components and programs at a later date. Talking about SIP, I'll port that later today...

yes, you can delete very much files, nobody would need f.e. the SFA drivers, or some libraries. Also nobody needs more than one font.

Just an idea...

Unfortunately, it hasn't been developing as quickly as it was. I have been working alot more than I usually do lately, since I now do phone support for Gateway computers (ack ack)
