I have seen an option onb the start bar (development).... now I wanna know if I can use this, or how do I use it, or if I can make may own apps with this, and what do I need to know to use it (e.g. which programming language, specs and all that stuff....)

thanks for the info, sincerely

You need ms-dos and DJGPP which you can find at http://www.delorie.com also get the source code of Seal from the download section. You can use ASM or C to make apps for Seal. What are you planning on porting for Seal? Nice to see another developer

you just need an MS compatible DOS, not MS-DOS specifically.

I would not recommend you use VDEV, which you find in the Development menu in SEAL. It has been discontinued and does not generate correct code.

I may port Visual DJGPP and include that in SEAL 2.00.12, to replace VDEV, but it's not really "visual" like VDEV was.

well...... actually, I am planning to port some stuff like some games, emulators (these ones will sure be ported ok?) so I think I'll find some SNES emu source code, and then I'll port it OK?..... then, if things go all OK, then I'll modify and port something really useful.....

well, I don't know too much about programming...(just the basics)... but I'll find the time to poprt (just to port) stuff to seal... so I think this won't be the last time you hear about me, OK?

That is very nice, indeed

C is the prefered language when programming for SEAL. I assure you, it's only JGX who is mad enought to try with asm
