I was planning on making the next release of Painter really really good, but I fell in love... So I really don't feel like or have time to do any programming at the moment. So, I thought I'd release what I have at the moment. Then there will probably not be much progress on it for a while.

She's wearing my leather jacket. She's wearing my lipstick.

There has been some imrovements since last release. Heres from the NEWS.TXT file:

* A line drawing tool.

* You can change the brush with the arrows under the box showing the brush.
Currently there are four different brushes (hardcoded).

* "New image dialog" where you can specify the size of the image

* Clear Image in Edit menu. The same as New Image was before.

* When you clear or make a new image the canvas is filled with the selected
background color.

* A color swapper. Swap background and forground color. Hint: thy the ugly little
black box next to the little boxes displaying the selected colors.

* A better color picker, that contains "all" colors.

* It's now under the GPL. Last release had no lisence

* Some small fixes. And that's all, I think.

And here's a screenshot:

Download it from my homepage, as usual the address is:

There are still some very critical bugs so don't include it in any distro's or something.

Ok then, please take care and try not to kill each other. I'll be back some day (a rainy summerday?)...

ps. If anyone wants to improve Painter or take over the maintainership that's OK, but please not that this is not only my first SEAL app, but also my first C app (I'm really a Pascal programmer). So the code might not be perfectly written
