Seal looks creat! I just love it. But I've searched the whole net and didn't find what I was looking for. a Desktop Environment, written in Pascal nl BP7, which is open source.
Will the Seal source code be availible in Pascal? I mean, there isn't any open source desktop environment out there that is written in pascal.
I'm very interested in seeing how a desktop environment is developed in pascal. Is this possible with BP7? Please, if any answers, email me at rudz@xsinet.co.za |

SEAL is written in C. It may however be possible to write programs for SEAL with FreePascal, but nobody has attempted this yet, AFAIK.

Hey, I know way for freePascal support, but it requests writing the library. Who want to do it? Who have a time for it? |

One of the goals for Seal 3.0 would be to try and be able to write programs in other languages, such as Pascal. However, in some ways, the use of C++ would complicate this a bit, so we may end up needing a C wrapper library as well or something... _________________ Owen Rudge
