This suggestion is not to undermind Owen :

I was thinking maybe we should set up a board of management where people are "elected" to represent different parts of seal works such as documentation, internet , etc. and Owen would be in charge of it all. The person chosen to represent each seal section would be in charge of development for that section and would have to answer any questions visitors to the Seal forums might have on that subject.

This might help Owen in decision making and development.

I am the President. I will nuke anyone or anything I don't like.

> not to undermind Owen

Is it just me, or have most posts started with that recently?

Seriously though, this isn't a bad idea actually.

Well the idea might be slightly based on the Government but i think it is a good idea. Owen, maybe you could go about setting it up if you want and you are right, theres a huge amount of postings over the last few days.

Careful.....anyone who has been here since the beginning might remember what happened last time we tried to do this...it was a complete disaster.

Not to say that it would be again though.

Well, I'm not planning on doing this right now, but in time, it might happen. And it might not...

it may be a good idea, i think we could certainly use some order in the establishment, but if we put too many people in charge then there may be problems.

Only Owen will be in charge... He'll be president and the other people will be his pitifull subjects that follow only his commands and must treat him like a god or they shall feel his almighty power :p

As Amos said, it can be dangerous too... But the best way is to let the different area-leaders (or whatever it should be called) chrystalise themselves after working together with Owen by contributing to the project, in that way a relationship built on trust will help the project... Thats how its done with Linux...
