Hi there,

Where can I get Cube GUI? The zip files appear to be missing from cubegui.sourceforge.net

Thanks,

Murgoe

Hey man that is pretty cheesy to give the name of a site that has internal issues that need to be resolved by the site maintainer... The reason I know this I just (literally) was there and tried to download the CUBE GUI file @ 1.72 MB and the SDK/Sources @ 2.53 MB and both timed out at around 186 - 188 KB of the over all package.

It would be muchly appreciated if you could tell of another lead to the binaries/sources/sdk files.

Muchly Appreciated,
Paul Crighton

i make uploads of that kind of size through FTP at about 34Kbps not too bad, just it is best to have files hosted on SF if the site is!

that would take absoloutely ages, why not just use a download manager, Mozilla and phoenix have one built in or you could use Getright.

well, i doubt he'll have time to email it to you if he hasn't got time to simply upload it, emailed it would probably take around 3 times as long.
whats wrong with taking a little of your time getting a copy of a proper browser to guarantee that you get the files you want, i wouldn't expect anyone to email be stuff like that if it were availible for download, thats just lazy.

i'm sorry if thatn sounds rude, but i just dont think anyones going to be willing to do it.

It annoys me when people ask me to e-mail them Transport Tycoon Deluxe, which can be up to 10mb in size! I don't have time to upload over 10mb of stuff to every person who asks! I just refer them to a thread on my forums with d/l locations...

http://cubeos.host.sk/download/Cubesrc1.zip
http://cubeos.host.sk/download/Cube11.zip

and now one for getright

then phoenix

http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/phoenix/releases/0.1/phoenix-0.1-win32.zip

and finally mozilla

i use Mozilla about two years now and i stopped using IE about 6-7 months now... and i still can't download big files from host.sk with Mozilla. Mozilla's download manager is just a list with active downloads in one window, nothing more. Also GetRight, Go!Zilla, etc cannot download stuff from host.sk. The only download manager that succeeds to get big stuff from host.sk is Download Accelerator Plus!, but even this sometimes results in corrupted files (that because of host.sk not because of DAP). DAP can be found at www.download.com.

and btw, Mozilla RULEZ!

(btw2: right now i'm using IE because i'm from my father's computer where only IE is available )

i've been using mozilla since the early seamonkey trees, getright will quite happily pull downloads from host.sk as does mozilla, it's download manager is actually fairly good, it allows pausing and resuming of failed downloads, rather than IE which just thinks a file is complete if it fails.
