Anyways when i start Seal it trys to load up then says it can't find the mouse
Followed by some weird code.

When I type "Seal" again at the prompt it loads up fine

Whats happening?

I get this to, about 50% of the time.

I don't know why, but my fix is to load the mouse driver (in my case cute mouse) at boot up.

Hi,

Maybe this may help? I have a working Logitech serial mouse if I launch Seal in a Windows 98 DOS window,

however, I got "fatal error: no mouse found" followed by a general protection error if I started up at a

real MS-DOS prompt and launched SEAL.

However, this batch file, "C:\seal.bat" (which relies on a freedos CuteMouse v1.9 download from

http://cutemouse.sourceforge.net/) gives me a mouse from DOS:

> C:\seal

@c:\cutemous\ctmouse>nul
@if errorlevel 5 echo FreeDos CuteMouse - Mouse not found!
@if errorlevel 5 goto end
@echo FreeDos CuteMouse - Mouse found
@cd seal2
@echo Launching Seal
seal
@c:\cutemous\ctmouse/u>nul
:end

Warning! If you call the batch file from a Windows DOS window, you will lose your mouse!

Best Wishes,
Eric T.
