Hello out there

I'm new to seal and personally love it, I'm glad to see that there are those who still do great things(tm) with so called dinosaur machines. I personally own a T-Rex pentuim 99 (IBM PC 340) and programs like Seal give it new life. The existance of programs like these give creedance to the idea that yes, you _can_ teach an old dog new tricks! I'll be dropping in btw (time allowing and the creek don't rise) with a few new toys for Seal2 as soon as I'm comfortable with the API.

I do understand that there is or was some GPL/Copyright confusion with P_mad's contributions? have those been resovled? I wouldn't wish to impose upon his rights by using VDEV in building GPL applications for Seal, please help me here!

i'm pretty sure that the PointMad issues have been resolved, i think Julien re-released the sources under the GPL, besides, the License does not affect your rights to license source files created with it an application(unless specifically stated).

if you want to experiment with SEAL2 that's great, but i would urge you to get in contact with Kostas and find out the status of XSEAL, you may be able to help.

Glad to hear it

I've had at least one bad expiriance too manny so forgive me if is seemed overly paranoid on licencing issues. I'll look into XSEAL as you suggested but Keep playing with Seal2 in the mean time (as it's the only one I have at the moment to even look at )

BTW love the pics on the gallery, it's good stuff.
