I R BABOON.... no really.... Doesn't matter who I am or what I am... Maybe I'm just trying to get you guys going and restart development in Seal2...Maybe I am trying to take people from Seal2... Fact is, Qube is better by far... Bochs for Qube does exist. And I have yet to get video working in Seal2's SFA player...unless that's going to be availabe in the so called next release we'll see in a couple of years......

Qube doesn't do video either.....and if I remember correctly, it doesn't even do sound. Even the old version of SFA can do a multitude of Sound formats. As for bochs for Qube, let's see it.... if it exists, you shouldn't have any trouble pointing out where it is.

Even Seal versions based on the 1.x sources can do alot of stuff Qube can't, so go toot your horn elsewhere. Perhaps at the System2001 or WinTix websites.

SFA does not have video support yet, because there are no video drivers created yet. I may get a basic MPEG driver working soon though.

Kostas, do you know how to use the DELFATE method for PPP ?

I can connect to a terminal based ISP (AOL) and that is OK if you either a) use AOL or b) live in Greece

When I dial into my ISP ( 0845 333 1121 ), It uses PPP and I get a whole load of crap that needs to be deflated by ZLIB.

Is there anyway that we can work on this together ?

i don't know anything about PPP.... but i think for sure that PPP is *optionally* compressed, which is mostly used in modem connections, because is pointless to compress packets of size of 2K and 4K...

Hey Quber, your an idiot and it shows! SFA doesn't even support video for one, but it at leased does sound, something which Qube is yet to do. As for internet, the sockets are implimented, but there is no longer any connection since Michal took the dialer out.

Amos: i know what PPP can and cannot do, as well as SLIP. Anyway, i don't know a bit about PPP and i want first to have modem support completed and then add other things (including PPP of couse). I have the RFC for PPP, but i'm really too lazy to read it, since is one of the biggest i have (or at least this is my idea ).

QC: this crap isn't compressed data, but probably a TCP "request" which is inside a IP datagram which is probably inside a PPP datagram...

all these "things" contain "headers" which can contain any of the 255 ASCIIs.
