As far as I know he is back. He already has most of his ppp dialer done. From what I've seen posted, he pretty much has enough of it done to release a test version, which he should do just to see if everyone can use it and what bugs might be there.....

well... not really... since pablo forgott to give him three of the needed files.... so we might just have to wait a little longer... But I understand that you're curious, I am too...

There is a site for USB support for DOS ( it was mentioned on either http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dos-today or http://groups.yahoo.com/group/InternetInDOS or at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/sealsystem that had the url for it). If future main boards only have USB connections instead of the tradiitional ps2/parallel/searl ports, it would be necessary to have USB support for DOS therefore also Seal System.
