Guys, maybe we can take the high-road, and instead of reinventing the wheel, use the power of OpenSource - it's code reuse.

I mean that we should only develop some low-level APIs, but for hi-level, and for theming let's use the GTK+ libray !

Let's look at GTK+, and see it's advantages:

-GTK has Themes library.
-GTK has fonts.
-If we support GTK, we can port GIMP2.0 to Seal. (having PhotoShop like powerfull app on a new OS is a great start.)
-If we support GTK, we can port AbiWord to Seal.

any ideas?

this is already the way i'm going to.
XSeal is a lowlevel kernel that will provide the multitasking, i/o, etc. Then a video layer will be used which will provide basic window functions. For controls and such, GTK will be used.
