what?! has this machine also no floppy drive, the installer that you can download from the website should fit on a floppy as it is, are you trying to put it onto a floppy uncompressed, if so then of course a zip would be smaller!

You may have to create a spanned ZIP file of the installation program, then extract that to your hard disk.

another option is to install SEAL on your machine, delete some of the un-needed files like the wallpapers and rezip with maximum compression.

hi: if you delete the s2a-bin or the bin directory then SEAL will be of no use to you what so ever.

Hello folks, I see Seal2 is totally lost now but anyway thats not my point. In my Users Guide (cant remember the address) it tells you how to fit Seal on a floppy. Maybe a link to my users guide should be available on the homepage.

it certainly should be darragh, it's on SF somewhere isn't it? http://sealsystem.sf.net/userguide/

nothing to stop you from being an idea man but plenty of us have ideas already, and understand the limitations involved.

All of us have a lot of ideas, but at the current stage of code maturity, you have to implement your own ideas.

Hope this will change in the coming months.

The best way at present to support SEAL 3.0 is to read the source and suggest alternative methods to do the same (or even better). I would highly appreciate code snippets. That way, you can uncover some of the things I might have overlooked (surely you will find some(read 'many'), Lukas found some serious ones...like return the x cood instead of the y cood)

Ofcourse all this is only if you cant keep a lot of free time for programming. I think an hour or two at the weekends to read a module should do.

Umm....I made Seal fit on a floppy.....I edited the GPL to be a blank file then rezipped it. I know it's illegal to distribute Seal without the GPL, but it shrinks the file just enough.
