Can anyone help me with a little project I am working on?
I am putting together an old 486 DX2 66 and have decided to put in it M$ DOS 6.22 and M$ Windows NT 3.1 Client/Server (either's okay), anyways for the past few months I have been searching the internet for anyone that may have a copy they can afford to pass on to me or a good web site that has this version available for download. The copy I have was downloaded months ago as .RAR files and has many errors in it as well as files missing (about 45 in all)!

So if anyone has a copy they can spare, or have info. as to where I may obtain a copy then please reply ASAP... I am willing to pay for it (originals or copies, floppy or cdrom versions okay) - name your price, ask Amos Vryhof if I will pay you, awhile ago I bought some hardware from him...

Thankyou in the future,
Paul Crighton

IIRC, windos2000.net has (or had) NT 3.1 for download. The download servers seem to be down at the moment though.

it's something i've never been able to track down myself, saw it once boxed at a computer fair for 10, should've got it really, ah well, i take it this system is just being put together as a curiosity rather than to do a real job, if so you could try OS/2 server from here if that holds a similar level of curiosity http://www.abandonkeep.com/os.shtml

Hmmm... if I ever find a download site, I'll give you a message. IIRC, Callum had it up on paws.tuxfamily.org for windos2000.net - don't know if it's still there.

I have a server Pak with NT 3.51, an NT 3.5 Disc, and some Zip files with NT 3.1, and a CD with just about every version of Windows released. If you have trouble finding what your looking for, get in touch with me, and I can provide it.
